Surabaya

This is the hometown of Puteri Indonesia 2014, Elvira Devinamira, okaaay. Elvira said that it is the perfect place for her, a developed city but not really crowded yet. Surabaya famous with the park and the patriotisme history, so let's see ^^

1. Tourism Object

There is museum that tell us about the history of patriot in Indonesia.
b. Sura- Baya sculpture icon

It's a monument that be the icon of surabaya, Surabaya is name taken from sura (means shark) and baya (crocodile). The monument located in front of Surabaya zoo.

This is a bridge connecting between Surabaya and Madura island. The longest bridge in Indonesia. When you reach there, don't forget to try bebek sinjay(sinjay duck)that really famous.

2. Culinary Object

a. Rujak Cingur

Rujak means a portion of Indonesian fruits that cutted and pur with indonesian peanut-sugar sauce. And Cingur means : mouth. So Rujak Cingur consist of fruit and the mouth art of cow, eaten with lontong(rice that cooked inside banana leaf), bean sprouts, and peanut sauce with petis.
Someone take me to a place that sell rujak cingur since 1942 in Genteng durasim street. And yaa it's delicious.

f. Rawon Setan

This is me with my family from Surabaya, me, and my cousin. the first time I heard Rawon Setan, i thought it going to be a super spicy rawon. But it's not, it's just rawon that open at night. Rawon is an Indonesian food that consist of meat and black sauce. Eat with bean sprout and rice, this is a my Dad's favourite food.

3. Oleh- Oleh / Handicraft

a. Almond Crispy

It's a tasty snack!! like a crispy crepe with almond in the middle of it. There are three variants : choco cheese, cheese, and green tea. When you try it, you'll never stop of craving it. You should take about Rp 45.000,- each
b. Lapis Surabaya

It's just a little bit different between Lapis and spikoe, lapis has 3 layer of cake and spikoe has 2 layer, About the taste, i don't really know, because i never try lapis surabaya before,so may be you should try it and share to me)

This is a cake from Surabaya that has two layer, chocolate and original with a pineapple jam between them, in my city we called it Mandarin cake, it's tasty. One of the famous spikoe is spikoe wich has old recipe.

4. Hotel

i was staying in a good hotel that have old theme, it's quite good hotel. Having a room for guest and a terrace, an old looking toilet and good old wood furniture. They use boogie for moving the guest to room, because it looks like a housing.

If you still remember about history, there is a hotel in Surabaya where Netherland Flag cut by Indonesian patriot, called hotel Yamato. Yap, that hotel is still exist and called Hotel Majapahit now.

Bali

Bali

Who don't know about Bali anyway, even in let's get rich (the game from line that really popular these day) they have Bali in it as tourism destination. I don't know how to explain but when you in Bali, every place you passed is like a tourism object. This Island is awesome, awesome with the culture with the nature. The people is really nice. Actually it's super awesome tourism city!!! and I believe almost people read this, indonesian especially, have been there right? hahahha

1. Kuta Beach
They said you're not in Bali if you never been there.

It's a beach in the middle of city life. It's a super popular beach in Bali and you can find so many tourist there. You can surf in there. Not far away from that beach, you can take a walk in a good mall called beach walk.

2. Beach walk

A luxurious mall near kuta beach. An outdoor mall.

3. Nusa Dua beach

It's a region in Bali which have exclusive hotel there. Almost every hotel is located next to the beach, so some of them have their own private cafe that located along the beach. It's really clean and quite quiet. Having a beautiful scenery and jogging tract along the beach, some of the hotel rent a bike to biking along the beach.

4. Karma Kandara Beach

It's a private beach, clean and beautiful, in the right months you can see sunset there. First one you should go to a hotel, and then you should use gondola to go down and reach the beach. it facilitate by a bean seat for us who want to lie down and enjoy the beach

B. Culinary
1. Nasi pedes (Spicy Rice)
It's like nasi rames, you can choose your food by your own self, but what makes it really special is it going to be really spicy and delicious of course.

2. Ayam Betutu ( Betutu Chicken)

This is a spicy food too, with balinesse seasoning. Oh my God it's really delicious.

3. Rujak Pindang

It's fruit salad with fish broth. Some people said it's acquired taste they said.

Yogyakarta

Who don't know this super special town anyway (This is my hometown). A tourism town. A special district in Indonesia which has a king as the governor. Do you want to have an experience about tradition and nature in a peace city? Want to stay in a comfortable and peace city? Just come to Yogyakarta, believe me,once you been there, you will miss that city again.
